As an introduction to audio-visual issues, this unit give students chief basic skills that allow them to develop later work in other disciplines. The main objective is to give them abilities to understand image and sound in order to transform them into video and audio and be able to communicate through their basic editions. Students must be able to handle video and sound devices along with nonlinear video and sound platforms to shape their simple journalistic pieces. Finally, they will produce basic practical exercises of recording and editing video and audio with an journalistic approach.
