The main objectives of this unit are: to study the big issues about changes in journalism role and journalistic routines and stimulate the debate about them, framed by the context of new media technologies, the business of news, the demands of investigative journalism.

The students are invited to put in perspective the role of journalists in media production environments and in contemporary democracy, through text discussions, case studies and debating the future of journalism with different media experts
